Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Friday issued a passenger advisory as a thick layer of smog engulfed the capital, resulting in low visibility.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, Delhi Airport Authority wrote, “Kind attention to all flyers! Low Visibility Procedures are in progress at Delhi Airport. All flight operations are presently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information.”
The air quality in Delhi entered the ‘very poor’ category once again on Friday after two days of remaining ‘poor’. Amid the depleting air quality, a thick layer of smog engulfed the national capital, resulting in low visibility. According to data by SAFAR, air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 303 at IGI Airport (T3).
